Auricular acupuncture utilizes the acupuncture points on the ears to provide acupuncture treatments. It can be used alone, or in complement to body acupuncture (i.e. regular acupuncture). Almost every part of the body is reflect on the ears.  There are certain points that are either more effective, or only exist on the ear.  In these cases, it is necessary to use auricular acupuncture to enhance and speed up the healing.

Ear acupuncture is used to effectively treat substance dependence, infertility, sexual dysfunction, high blood pressure, many types of pain etc..

Sometimes, if acupuncture cannot be performed on the body due to fear or young age, ear acupuncture can be used alone to provide excellent results.
