Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Mental Disorder
Anxiety onto itself is a normal human reaction to stress. When the anxiety becomes excessive, it is considered as a disorder. It can have four dimensions: mental, physical tension, physical symptoms and symptoms associated with hyperventillation. Western medicine regards the causes to be either biological or stress related.
Chinese medicine has a different perspective on the condition of anxiety. The causes can be grouped into excessiveness and deficiencies.
